Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This policy explains what personal information TurboBase ("TurboBase", "we", "us") collects through turbobase.io and our early-access process, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We are based in British Columbia, Canada, and we follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
We are responsible for the personal information in our care. One person handles privacy for us, and you can reach them at privacy@turbobase.io with any question or request.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you request early access or email us, we collect what you send: your name, email address, company name, and any details you choose to add, such as the systems you run or the size of your team. We collect only what we need to reply to you and run the preview.
Information collected automatically
We host the site on Cloudflare and load fonts from Google Fonts. To serve a page, those providers receive standard request data, including your IP address and browser type. We use it to deliver and protect the site, not to build a profile of you.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we do not run third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this page and say what is set and why.
Why we use it
We use your information to reply to your early-access request and keep in touch about the private preview, to operate and secure the site, and to gauge interest so we can improve what we build. We will not use it for anything else without asking you first.
We collect and use this information with your consent, which you give by submitting a form or emailing us. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. We will stop, though it may mean we can no longer follow up with you.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and the early-access process, under agreements that limit what they can do with it, and where the law requires us to disclose it.
Some of those providers operate outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information may be stored or processed there, and may be subject to that country's laws, including lawful access by its authorities.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. After that we delete it or strip out what identifies you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent. Email us and we will respond within the time the law allows. Keeping your details accurate helps us, so if something changes, let us know.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to guard against loss and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. TurboBase is early-stage and does not hold formal security certifications yet. We will say so here plainly if that changes.
If you have a concern
Email us first and we will try to sort it out. You also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator. In British Columbia, that is the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for B.C. (oipc.bc.ca). Federally, it is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Children
The site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above, and we will make significant changes clear on this page.
